Gladden Farms Elementary has been named a 2026 National Gold Star School by the National Association of Elementary School Principals, a national recognition honoring schools that demonstrate outstanding leadership, innovation, and dedication to student success.

More than 220 schools applied for the inaugural award, and only 57 were selected, placing Gladden Farms among an elite group recognized for excellence in elementary or middle-level Education.

“This recognition is a reflection of the incredible work of our teachers, staff, students, and families,” said Naya Persaud, principal of Gladden Farms Elementary. “We are proud to create a learning environment where every child is supported, challenged, and inspired to succeed.”

National Gold Star Schools are selected based on evidence their achievements based on

NAESP’s framework of the Three Pillars of the Principalship:

  • Established Culture: Shared values, family engagement, and well-being.
  • Empowered People: Collaborative teaching, distributed leadership, and holistic support.
  • Optimal Systems: Effective use of talent and resources, district support, and strategic focus.

Being named a National Gold Star School affirms the relationships and systems you’ve built together.

Congratulations, Gladden Farms Elementary, on your hard work creating a positive school environment and earning this incredible achievement!
