Associate Principal

I am honored to join the Gladden Farms Elementary family as the Associate Principal for the 2023-2024 school year. I am a proud MUSD alumni and spent the majority of my childhood right here in Marana. After graduating from Marana High School, I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona, and returned to MUSD to begin my career in education. I am now thrilled to have the opportunity to give back to our wonderful district and community as a part of the Bobcat Team.

This will be my eleventh year working for MUSD. Prior to this position, I was a Social Studies teacher and Instructional Coach at Marana Middle School, which allowed me the chance to mentor and support our developing teachers. During this time, I earned my graduate degree in Educational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, and have been fortunate enough to raise my three children here. While not at school, my family and I enjoy camping, kayaking, and traveling. 

I look forward to partnering with Ms. Persaud and the entire Gladden Farms Elementary Staff to ensure all of our students have their best chance at learning. We know that strong relationships with families and effective teachers are the biggest contributors to a student’s academic success, and to that end I will endeavor to work collaboratively with our staff and community as we pursue academic excellence that invites input from all stakeholders. My goal is that all students and families entering Gladden Farms will feel safe, valued, and involved in our collaborative efforts. Our team will strive to ensure that your student has a positive and rewarding academic experience at Gladden Farms Elementary so that they may succeed in middle school and beyond!
