Free Full-day Kindergarten
Now enrolling for free full-day kindergarten offering a strong focus on cognitive, social, and emotional learning development.
Collaborative Learning
Aligned with the District’s Gradual Release of Responsibility (GRR) instructional model is the critical need to provide learning environments which engage students in collaborative and productive work.
Buddy Classes
Having older and younger students interact in positive ways is especially important in a K-6 environment. Buddy classes meet monthly and connect through fun activities and games.

PTOs throughout Marana USD and the MUSD Parent Partnership are collecting donations to restock the district’s FRC, which support MUSD students and families. Donate clothes, socks, hygiene items, shoes, and food staples!

GFE students voted—and the results are in! Join us for the Kid’s Choice Event, a high-energy family fun night filled with activities chosen by our students. Enjoy Nerf, arts and crafts, Legos, sports, video games, movies, music, raffles, and outdoor games, plus kid-favorite food options like pizza, nachos, and drinks.

This is a family event (not a drop-off). Tickets are $5 cash / $6 card per person, or $8 at the door. Volunteers are welcome, and raffle tickets will be available. Buy early to avoid lines!

As sixth graders prepare for middle school and upcoming state assessments, counseling lessons have focused on building skills to manage stress, relationships, and challenges. Beginning in late January, students participated in lessons on Healthy Friendships, Coping with Worry, and Growth Mindset.
Through discussion, reflection, and shared experiences, students learned how to recognize healthy relationships, manage worries, and understand how their brains grow through effort and learning from mistakes. These lessons support students during an important stage of growth and help build confidence, resilience, and readiness for what’s ahead.

The Arizona Department of Education has released A-F School Letter Grades scores based on data from the 2023-24 school year and Gladden Farms Elementary School received an B Letter Grade.

DeGrazia establishes clear expectations for the behavior expected in all classrooms and areas of school. Students are explicitly taught these expectations, and we apply positive reinforcement and consistent consequences.
